Colleen serves as Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Women’s Resource Center. She is thrilled about leading the Women’s Resource Center into the future and serving on the management team for the Vice President for Student Life/Dean of Students. She joined the Women’s Resource Center at Georgia Tech the summer of 2006 in the newly created Program Coordinator role and transitioned to the Director role in May 2010.
She has a bachelor’s degree in exercise and health science from Alma College and master’s degree in college student affairs leadership from Grand Valley State University. Her master’s thesis focused on body image among Greeks (males and females) at Grand Valley State University. Colleen received her Doctorate of Education from University of Georgia Student Affairs Leadership program. Her dissertation focused on the Experiences of Women's Center Directors across the United States.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, Scott and children, Allison - 24 and Brandon - 22, Catherine - 6 in addition to training for road races and triathlons. They have an adorable Miniature Schnauzer named Evie and reside in Tyrone!
