Women's GradChat: Being Authentic in the Face of Cultural Expectations

Thursday, November 21, 2019 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Join us for a free meal and in-depth dialogue as we explore what it means to be authentic in the face of cultural expectations. How do expectations about gender roles, work, and perfectionism push against us in the form of our co-workers' attitudes and expectations? How and when is the right time to set boundaries and resist the urge to "not rock the boat" when communicating our needs?

Women’s GradChats serve as a space for graduate women to engage meaningfully with one another, build community, and dialogue about their experiences as graduate women of Georgia Tech. Registration is required for this event. If registration has reached capacity, you may email Dani Lechner (danielle.lechner@studentlife.gatech.edu) to be added to the wait list. Click here to register.
