About the Conference

The Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) at Georgia Tech is a one-of-a-kind event designed to inspire growth, leadership, and positive change. It’s a space where people come together to learn, connect, and lead with purpose. Rooted in the Social Change Model of Leadership and inclusive leadership principles, the WLC helps participants discover their potential and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Hosted by the Women’s Resource Center, the conference is open to everyone while intentionally centering and celebrating the experiences, stories, and contributions of women. By uplifting diverse voices, the WLC highlights the unique perspectives women bring to leadership and encourages participants to create environments where everyone feels they truly belong.

At its heart, the WLC sees leadership as a shared journey, guided by values like self-awareness, collaboration, and commitment to the common good. Through dynamic workshops and discussions, participants reflect on their leadership paths, learn to build strong teams, and explore their role in driving change.

The WLC also emphasizes the power of transformational leadership—encouraging practices like self- and community-care. It’s about creating spaces where people feel empowered to lead boldly and collaboratively, sparking change that benefits everyone. With its focus on belonging and collective growth, the WLC invites you to lead with courage and connection.

About our 2025 Theme: “Lead Connection, Empower Belonging”

At the heart of leadership lies the power to connect: to ourselves, to others, and to the communities we serve. "Lead Connection, Empower Belonging" emphasizes that leadership begins with understanding and nurturing meaningful connections that foster a sense of belonging for everyone. This theme encourages leaders to recognize the interwoven nature of our lives and challenges them to create spaces where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute.

This year’s conference theme inspires participants to explore the many facets of connection—personal, interpersonal, and societal—and their impact on fostering inclusive and collaborative environments. By deepening self-awareness, cultivating authentic relationships, and building inclusive communities, leaders can transform their connection into a mechanism for empowering belonging.
